Online Process

Existing Customer

  1. In case of an existing customer, it is possible to create a recurring deposit by directly applying through SOL India by clicking on “Products”.
  2. Once the RD is created, the receipt received on completion of transaction will reflect a pop-up of Korea Tourism Organization (KTO).
  3. Customers interested in reaping the benefits of this plan will have to click on above-mentioned pop-up link of Korea Tourism Organization (KTO).
  4. The link will direct the customer to a Google Form which the interested customer is supposed to fill responses.
  5. On completion of the Google Form, the recurring deposit will be linked to “Let`s Go, Korea” plan & the SOL app shall reflect the same.

New Customer

  1. For new customers, the SOL India needs to be downloaded.
  2. The customer is to complete Video-based Customer Identification Process (V-CIP) as a part of the new account opening steps which include video based live verification with the customer, Verifying the KYC (Aadhar & Pan Card Original) & Signature verification
  3. Once the savings account is functional, the customer will have explore the Products tab which reflect the “Let`s Go, Korea- Recurring Deposit” Plan.
  4. The Recurring Deposit (RD) will have to be created & on completion of the same, the transaction receipt will be generated.
  5. This receipt will reflect a pop-up of Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) redirecting the customer to a Google Form link.
  6. Once the form is completed by the customer, the Recurring Deposit will be linked to the Let’s Go Korea plan and the SOL India shall reflect the same.

Offline Process

As a part of the offline application process, the customer will have to visit the nearest Shinhan Bank Branch & apply for recurring deposit under “Let`s Go, Korea” plan
